Snowshoe Trail Update

The Little Alpino and both  loops of the Diable Vert have been cleared and liberally marked with the distinctive yellow/pink ribbons as well as with blue signs.  We have laid out the trails as one-way trails in clockwise loops.  Unless you know the trails well, it would be wise to follow those directions. 

There has been some confusion about the signs. This picture shows the trail marking at the fork on the Diable Vert, where you have a choice of going left onto the long loop, or right back towards the Viking clubhouse. The confusion is related to the latter sign, which many people do not recognize as a sign directing you back to the clubhouse.
